The Next Tab Phenomena

So, I monitor this "blog" (or "wiary"=web diary because it sounds just as pretentious and annoying as blog) using myweblog.com and it's just fun to see where people go...no wait, don't leave, it's not as "1984" as it seems...I pretty much know who the two people that read this are. Anyway, I find that the biggest hit is the "Next Blog" tab....and for good reason...that thing is more addictive than crack. There must be some morbid fascination in seeing that the site that briefly rubs shoulders with your site, whether it's some jacked up 12 year old girls manga site or some very bizarre, repetitive insurance marketing site. We are, by nature of the internet, lurkers and voyeurs. But it's fun and if people are willing to show themselves, i'm willing to look. So check out us freakshows...
