So, though I try not to be judgemental...I pretty much usually am. One of the guys I'm a little harsh with is Robbie McEwan with Davitamon-Lotto; he's opinionated...which can make him see kinda assholi** (damn, i can never get those asterixs right...does that mean he's an assholic?). However, his comments after his stage 13 win are actually really kind of nice:
"You saw who did the work today," stage winner McEwen said, blowing champagne kudos to his team.
"Today wasn't about me. It wasn't about my third win [McEwen also had sprint wins in stages five and seven]. Today was about Davitamon-Lotto." [kinda weird that he had to mention his third win, though.]
"What my teammates did today was absolutely incredible. To bring back nine minutes on day 13 of the Tour, when everybody is tired... It was an absolutely incredible effort."
Anyway, sorry about the quick judgement, it looks like you're alright when you need to be.
